Find Hope, Feel Seen, Form Understanding
Jim Schutt, LPC
I am passionate about helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, identity, and self-esteem challenges by fostering a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment. My approach is grounded in building a trusting relationship where you can explore your vulnerabilities and develop new tools for personal growth. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you gain awareness of your emotions and values, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) techniques to challenge limiting beliefs, especially those stemming from trauma. Together, we’ll work to deepen your self-acceptance, build resilience, and create meaningful change. My goal is to support you in overcoming internal conflicts, gaining clarity, and reconnecting with what matters most in your life.
